Leading design (UX, UI, and visual) for the Sage Payments Cloud platform which provides a single source for all global Sage accounting products to facilitate acceptance of customer payments through third party processors and services. Collaborating with Sage Worldwide Payments and Banking team and third party partner teams to conceive initial use cases and user journeys for Sage global customers to seamlessly connect to external payment platforms. Lead design for Sage Payment Services Payment Center platform which offers payment processing for Sage desktop accounting software customers.
Conceptualized and designed iOS mobile enterprise solutions for Apple + IBM Alliance clients within the retail, service, and aviation industries. Collaborated with Apple designers and end users in rapid prototyping client workshops at the Apple campus in Cupertino; composed user stories, drafted sketches, and created high fidelity designs and animated prototypes to provide an initial direction for future iOS applications. Collaborated with project managers, local and international developers, and fellow design team members to conceive and create UI flows, visual designs, and animated demos; provided deliverables and documentation for implementation during mobile product production.
Conceptualized and developed iOS mobile solutions to enable a luxury transportation provider to dispatch chauffeurs to passengers on demand. Produced a new iOS mobile application for fleet drivers which implemented improved user experience and new functionality that resulted in higher reliability, productivity, and consumer satisfaction during chauffeur trip dispatches. Designed a new iOS mobile application which enables consumers to request, schedule, and manage both on demand and future chauffeured trips from transportation providers. Overhauled company and product logos and marketing collateral to better reflect business identity and promote brand image.
Conceptualized and designed iOS mobile solutions that enabled Bechtel employees and customers to easily and intuitively access data on mobile devices. Consulted with project owners and prospective users to create user stories that lead to the proposal or development of new iOS mobile applications. Provided user flow diagrams, user interface design, and visual design to be implemented during the development process to produce iOS and web applications with an emphasis on user-centered design. Conceptualized and designed new advertising units and products that enabled technology brands to increase social media amplification and drive greater consumption of positive earned media content. Managed and art directed a team of on site and external contracted designers. Developed and designed CNN mobile applications for the Apple iOS, Symbian, and Android platforms. Created original graphics, illustrations, and interactive content for CNN publishing, marketing, and advertising. Implemented the new stylistic guidelines for original, illustrated content that appears on CNN.com. Created interface and user icons, badges, and avatars used in social media initiatives for both CNN and partners such as facebook and foursquare. Designed original homepages and internal pages for CNN sites such as Heroes 2011, Global Public Square with Fareed Zakaria, The Rick Sanchez Blog, and CNN Mobile landing pages.
Created original graphics, illustrations, animations (Flash and video), and photos for HowStuffWorks articles, video, marketing, and advertising. Art directed junior designers, hired and trained graphic design interns, and acted as the liaison between design and external departments. Storyboarded and then created video titles, bumpers, and animations for HSW video featured in Regal theaters and on broadcast television. Authored numerous published articles featured on HowStuffWorks and wrote copy for online advertising campaigns. Launched and created original content for Stuffo (an early entertainment division of HowStuffWorks).
